Unused tickets are rare as the final day was completely sold out -
prices for the best seats on the grandstand were ten times the
original price on the black market. 50 000 spectators watched the races,
and many of them missed the first final because the Munich public transport
system had not expected such masses of people to cope with.
The ticket on the right (°Ehrenkarte° = honorary ticket) was for one of the best seats:
Block A1, row 12, seat 1 - as close to the finish line as possible (for VIP only)

At this venue the Olympic Rowing regatta 1932 took place. The course - shortened by 500 m - was chosen to stage the rowing competitions in 2028.
The M8+ race in 1968 was won by Harry Parker's Harvard crew who beat Joe Burk's Pennsylvania crew by 0.05 seconds.
