WRC Copenhagen 1987, Olympic Games Seoul 1988,
WRC Bled 1989, WRC Tasmania 1990 and WRC Vienna
1991. In the M2+ final of the Olympic Games Barcelona
1992 the Abbagnale brothers lost against the Searle
brothers of Great Britain in an epic battle and won the
silver medal.
Giuseppe Abbagnale was elected president of the Italian
Rowing Federation in 2012.
