M1X final A result at OG Rio de Janeiro
1. NZL 6:41,34
2. CRO 6:41,34
3. CZE 6:44,10
The first two single scullers Drysdale (NZL)
and Martin (CRO) rowed a new Olympic
record time - less than two centimeters
seperated their bow balls on the finish line.
It was the closest result ever in an Olympic
M1X final thus matching the W1X final at
the Sydney Olympic Games 2000 when
