At this venue the Olympic Rowing regatta 1932 took place. The course - shortened by 500 m - was chosen to stage the rowing competitions in 2028. The M8+ race in 1968 was won by Harry Parker's Harvard crew who beat Joe Burk's Pennsylvania crew by 0.05 seconds. |
